We are a non-profit organization, functioning as a channel of transformation and empowerment among teenagers who are victims of substance and social media abuse. Started in 2008 form the make-shift facility of Congregation of Sisters of Charity (CSC), Chittissery, Thrissur, in which we are part of, AURA has so far handheld 5000+ children, from the brink of addiction, back to normal life. A host of these children have grown up to become responsible citizens, contributing to their homes, society and nation. Some of them have excelled in various spheres of life, including sports, arts, music and specific career domains. We work with schools in and around Thrissur and Palakkad districts of Kerala and offer training sessions, therapy, camps, workshops, career coaching and mentoring to select group of children, referred to us. 

The epidemic of substance abuse in adolescents is increasing at an alarming rate and we are unable to meet the needs of the society due to insufficient infrastructure and operational capacity. We would like to reach out to wider geographic areas and be a beacon of hope for the families of more struggling adolescents. The plan is to construct a 15000+ sq ft state of the art de-addiction centre with better facilities, infrastructure and hostel. The project is expected to cost approx. 3.5 crores, as on date.
